On Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, we held a comedy night fundraising event at Botto's Italian Restaurant, in Swedesboro NJ.

The event was MC'd by Nick Colleta, and headlined by comedians Mike Egan, and Chris Coccia. This was a sold out event with over 100 people who got to enjoy dinner, drinks, and a comedy show. We were successfully able to raise close to $4K, which will aid us in our mission to help local children and families in need.

As seen on A & E, NBC, and top clubs across America, Mike Eagan is one of the most influential and sought-after headliners in the country. Mike is also an accomplished voice over artist, broadcast teacher, grandfather, and semi-pro miniature golf player. Mike has more than twenty-five years of stage experience and has made his mark from coast to coast and beyond. You can catch him regularly in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. He spent years as the mc/host/creative director of famed New York City hot spots like Catch A Rising Star and Dangerfield's. He has also enjoyed a stellar career in radio where his quick wit and ability to ad-lib earned him the coveted morning show for a number of different stations in the New York metropolitan area. Currently he is in demand at comedy clubs, corporate events, and everywhere great comedy is available.

Chris Coccia

Chris Coccia’s comedy is the perfect mix of hilarious material and in-the-moment engagement. He flows seamlessly between his act and improvised interaction with the crowd. Over 25 years performing full-time as a stand-up, Chris has honed his ability to engage with a crowd and entertain a variety of audiences. From late night shows in Vegas to early morning teambuilding breakfasts, Chris always leaves them laughing. Outside of his headline appearances, you may have seen Chris as the opening act for performers such as: Jon Lovitz, Norm Macdonald, Dennis Miller, Dom Irrera, Chaka Kahn, Roy Clark, and Dennis DeYoung. He was the winner of the Purina Pet Comedy Competition and an invited guest performer at the American Comedy Festival. He was also invited to present his talk, “There’s No Cool in Comedy,” for TEDx at Arcadia University. He can be heard on Sirius/XM and is a frequent guest on morning radio shows in his hometown of Philadelphia. In addition to performing, Chris shares his love of comedy in Five Minutes to Funny, an enormously popular stand-up comedy class he developed and has been teaching at the DC Improv for the last 12 years. He developed a spin-off of this class, Comedy Bootcamp, in partnership with the Armed Services Arts Partnership, which works to create community for military members through shared creative outlets. Teaching has also led to corporate speaking engagements where Chris models using humor to create better customer engagement. Chris Coccia looks forward to bringing his comedy to even more audiences in the coming years.
